Understanding AI and how it will shape Cambodia’s future

Course Overview

Artificial intelligence is no longer something from science fiction. It is already working in Cambodia — in agriculture, healthcare, banking and education. Understanding what AI is, how it works. Knowing how to use it well is becoming as important as knowing how to use email or Google.

This course does not require any technical background. It starts with the basics — what AI actually is, why it needs such powerful computers, and how it is already being used in Cambodia today. We then look at the tools students can use right now, how to get good results from them, and critically, how to recognise when AI is being used to deceive.

AI will not take away the need for people who can think, question, and make decisions. But people who understand AI will have a significant advantage in Cambodia’s digital economy.
