Who We Are
IT Club Cambodia is a not-for-profit IT education programme run by To Grow An Orchid, a privately funded NGO. We were founded on a simple belief that Khmer students deserve access to practical IT skills that will help them in work, study, and daily life.
Our team brings decades of professional IT experience in software development, technical infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital communications. We have designed a curriculum that is relevant, accessible, and delivered entirely in Khmer.
Our courses have been running for over five years, reaching more than 3,000 students in grades 10 to 12 at partner schools across Cambodia.
The Programme
IT Club delivers a structured 25-hour course to students in grades 10-12. For many students, this is their first sustained experience using a computer and keyboard. The course is practical, step-by-step, and focused on skills students can use immediately.
What students learn:
- Email and professional communication
- Using Google and the internet effectively
- Social media—the good and the risks
- Stay safe online—scams, fraud, fake news
- Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
- Passwords, two-factor authentication and backup
- Understanding your computer and smartphone
- Cyberbullying—recognising and responding
- Cambodian digital scams and what they mean for you
All course materials are provided in Khmer and English. Classes are delivered by your teachers using our PowerPoint presentations and teacher notes. Schools provide the classroom and computers.
